Sixth Form update October 2020

I would firstly like to congratulate all our former Year 13 students for the outstanding results they achieved this year. They worked so hard and deserved all of their success. I wish them all well at university or in their chosen routes.  Our current Year 13 students also need to be congratulated for the excellent set of results they also achieved in the summer.

Although our new term has not started in the usually way; no large sporting induction activities, BBQ’s or full assemblies – it has still started brilliantly. I am so proud of all the current Sixth Form students and how they have thrown themselves back into education and embraced the changes we have had to make. We are delighted to be offering full face to face lessons, albeit safely and with extra restrictions.

The Year 13 students have had to sit mock exams recently so we can judge their progress and help and support where there may be gaps. For Year 12 students they have had to complete summer work and have also taken on the challenge of A Levels and Level 3 BTEC courses and all the work that comes with them.

As Year 11 students start thinking about their next steps, I just want to give you an update on activities we will be running. There will be a whole range of videos that will start to appear on our site, explaining what our Sixth Form is about and subjects we have on offer. There will also be plenty of information from our Sixth Form students.

Our new prospectus is now live, also please click on the link below to have a look at the College facilities ……
